Sixty years ago, Lenox Terrace set a new standard of living in Harlem. Now, an updated plan builds on that legacy.

After more than a decade of planning and discussions with residents, a new vision for Lenox Terrace is currently under consideration by the City. If approved through the City’s public review process, which officially began in August 2019, the updated plan for Lenox Terrace will bring:

  • Updates to existing buildings, including lobbies, common areas and hundreds of existing units
  • Six stunning acres of lavish open space
  • New building amenities open to all Lenox Terrace residents
  • Professionally attended parking below Lenox Terrace
  • 1,600 mixed-income apartments, including approximately 400 affordable
  • New neighborhood-focused retail

In the coming months, the Community Board, Borough President, City Planning Commission and City Council will weigh in on the plan, one of the largest private investments ever in Harlem’s future. It is important they hear from you. Make your voice heard: share your support!
