A long-dormant expansion project in Harlem is finally moving forward with the public review process scheduled to kick off next month, Politico reports. Plans to expand the six-building Lenox Terrace complex have been in the works since at least 2009, but they haven’t moved forward for one reason or another.

A set of renderings designed by David Brody Bond were unveiled in 2011, but that version of the project never moved forward. In 2015, residents complained that the developer and owner of the complex, the Olnick Organization, wasn’t putting out enough informationabout the proposed expansion. To rectify that perception, the developer held a public information session in October last year, where residents of the existing complex got the first look at the latest development plans…
